A seven acre site was identified on the edge of Castlefinn on the N15 road. This site a former dump and prone to flooding was owned by the Derry diocesan trust and leased to the Castlefinn town development association now part of CPI Ltd on a 99 year lease, this lease was subsequently transferred to CPI Ltd.

A phased development plan was drawn up to realise these aims and objectives. Details of which are summarised in the following:

Phase 1
Construction of an enterprise block comprising five commercial units
Construction Health Centre
Construction of a custom built childcare facility catering for children’s needs

Phase 2
Construction of a large multi purpose Hall with provision for additional workspace at first floor level

Construction of meeting and conference rooms

Develop and fittout computer suite .

Phase 3
Development of outdoor sports and leisure facilities.
